Yeah, Nintendo has been anti-consumer for a long time, but it's glossed over because it has a few staples that people love.

That brand new $60 Zelda game in 2017 is the same price today. People hate on Microsoft and Sony but they get the word out that games gotta go on discount.

Don't even get me started on the classic games approach.

I've been hearing the phrase "anti consumer" a lot and I felt like there's no better way to describe Nintendo.

I'm a huge fan. The Switch is the only console I own.

But the fact that I have to have a subscription to play retro games instead of just purchasing them, the cost of games and the rollout of the Switch 2 makes me want to invest in a good product solely for emulating and/or a PlayStation.

I know all these companies just want my money but Jesus Nintendo goes about it with no Vaseline
