This is the part thats always overlooked. They include astro bot playroom for free, god of war ragnarok Valhalla for free, ghost of tsushima legends for free, Returnal tower of sisyphus for free, ratchet and clank for free, horizon zero dawn for free, all the astro bot dlc for free, etc. etc.

for the record, i don’t think any of these companies are our friends or doing anything out of the kindness of their hearts. But they always do as much as they can get away with and nintendo’s fans have let them get away with way too much over the years only because they’ve skirted by on cheap hardware for so long

Yeah, Nintendo has been anti-consumer for a long time, but it's glossed over because it has a few staples that people love.
That brand new $60 Zelda game in 2017 is the same price today. People hate on Microsoft and Sony but they get the word out that games gotta go on discount.
