This is a story about Mike, a guy who left his girl in New York when he came to LA to be a star. It's been six months since his girlfriend left him and he's not doing so good. So, his pal and some other friends try and get him back in the social scene and forget about his 6 year relationshyt.

i swear this movie's a remake of "hanging with the homeboys"....leguizamo's awkward in that movie & the fake italian guy is just like vince vaughn....

My friend used to talk like that, (in high school) (because his older brother loved Swingers), and I never knew where it came from, until I finally saw Swingers. It's an iconic and pretty much post modern Pulp Fiction inspired take on LA culture, that has countless imitators over the years.

I do think Made is maybe almost as funny in the first 3 acts, but less of a "real" movie. Swingers captured an entire generation of dating and relationships, and the Hollywood scene.

If you've been in them LA streets anywhere from 1997-2004, you'll know this move was so spot on. Movie is classic and one of my favorites.

Classic movie, and the opening phone calls scene is an all-time classic scene.

If you were at a PWI after this came out you know how much it influenced college culture, it was like everyone was starting up swing clubs and shyt.
