Hangman's torment actually helping Swerve win the title, then winning the Owen and them having a title match at All In would have been real neat way to go. Win for everyone. Get the title off of Mox and end the Deathriders shyt, Mox gets that vacation he's been talking about for 4 years, Swerve gets the belt back, add more weight to Hangman winning the Owen, giant main event match at All In.

That's the thing, you don't need the belt for that.

Yeah, I always argued that even if you "had" to book this angle no matter what (for whatever reason), Mox didn't need to be champion for it.

They could even pivot and make him lose the belt on Wednesday and still book his atrocious idea of an angle in the coming months. Mox is just a mark for world titles and TK is a moron that can't help but follow his favorites ideas to a T, and fanbase has to suffer for it
