55 definitely the sweet spot

65 is cool as hell but when at my moms house I sometimes can't help but think "this a big ass TV" and gets distracting.

My 55 LG is a perfectly balance of not too small but not too big for competitive gaming.

I got a 40 inch 4k for the bed room..living room 50 inch is good...really depends tho on the feng shui of the area the tv is in.

It's up to you. I have a 43" & its the perfect size for me. Also depends on the size of the room and how far you sit away from the screen.
