That's when Diz was really, really good. He just burnt himself out. Sucks, being from the West I was happy to see someone be in people's top 5... but he just couldn't keep it going.

Yea I think when he started getting reactions, he went all out with it. When he just writes regular verses, and stays inside his skill set... I think he can win almost anywhere.

Again, Math's punch is not why that battle didn't happen. Math/Jones battle was the last battle of the night regardless. They were shutting the club down after that. It was already 12:30 am, and you're only allowed to book the club for a certain amount of hours and Smack was passed that. Everyone knew that was the last battle. Swave, Daylyt, JJDD and JC all said they knew they weren't battling that night once it got to 12 at night

Blame Smack for the battle not happening. Him starting the event damn near 4 hours after it was suppose to is what caused the last two battles to get cut out.

And this Swave would have been much tougher for Diz to beat. Those long drawn out concept rounds won't cut

I know nyggas love conspiracy theories but the reality of the situation is URL lost a quality venue and lot of bread after what happened. The Philly Invasion card was already booked for that venue (for November I think) now that card is postponed indefinitely. Studio 49 is a way more appealing spot than the place they held Born Legacy at.

Overall, that battle got a lot of replay value. Props to Suge that night.
