Swapping out summer tires for winter tires question

i use the same damn tires that came with the car all yr around.....just drive care on ice
I copped the Michelins pilots as3's, $900 for just tires n shyt...smh
I had a car with summer-only tires. You will want to change them out if you are going to be driving in snow. They have close to zero traction in snow-covered roads.

My car is RWD and useless in the littlest of snow so I have to do the changeover to snow tires. The impact is staggering, so at least I feel like I get my monies worth. 
I saw a youtube video of someone putting sandbags in their trunk to compensate for skidding and sliding of rearwheel drive vehicles. The video compared an all-wheel vehicle and a rear wheel vehicle with sandbags. they perfomed the sameMy car is RWD and useless in the littlest of snow so I have to do the changeover to snow tires. I don't bother w/ it here much in Northern VA, but I have plenty of friends w/ rear wheel drive cars that do it annually.

I have a sub in my trunk, and one winter I drove around with a bunch of bags of heavy ass rocks for months that I was supposed to bring somewhere but never got around to it....my car still
sucked in the snow.
