I got some good tires on my van for the winter in extreme situations. I rarely drive it in the summer cuz of my Focus, but the treads stay true for them slippery shyts.

I feel you. So you getting winter tires or you putting chains on your wheels? Tires alone for my car gonna run me between $720-$1500 easy on all season's, I got a staggered setup. In the case of bad snow or icy conditions I will just stay inside.

I got these BF KDW's

Considering these General G-Max AS03's

I live in New England and I just put on my winter tires on today. They're Pirelli Winter Carving. They're also mounted on a seperate set of wheels. I love having them on. I get much more traction with them on then with my all-season tires which suck in the snow. Winter tires also get you better traction on dry pavement then all seasons because they stay soft during colder temperatures. I love giving people the :umad: when they're stuck and sliding all over the place and i'm moving a long fine.

Snow out this bytch right now and I got on these summer tires sliding all over the place. I need to put 80 lbs of sandbags in my trunk or something to keep from fishtailing

you use all seasons in LA?

:pachaha: :camby:

I thought you were gonna say something like...DC or farther north :heh:
It rains every 6 months and the roads are real slippery from the combination of oil and water. Gotta make sure i have those all season tires on to prevent hydroplaning. Its dangerous.
