The thing about the draft is where guys are ranked right now won't be where they end up
A guy's career trajectory is based on opportunity, system, coaching, work ethic, and talent
Guys may be more talented now but if they don't get the right opportunity and play under sh*tty coaches, a guy who is a little less talented but plays in a great system under great coaches is more likely to be more impactful.
The draft is a crapshoot.
Look at my guy Wentz. Most guys predicted he'd be a bust and why would a team trade up for an FCS QB. Well he's a top 10 QB, and has produced great #s when he's played. The year he had coaching, great playcalling under a great system, and talent around him, he was the league's MVP until the Rams tore his acl (smh).
If Wentz went to a place like Buffalo or NYJ or Miami, he prob would've been a bust.

Guess we're looking at a different guy. I see a very average arm. Tua's anticipation and accuracy are what impress me. Never been impressed with his physical tools.
Haven't watched them.

Poor coaching, a weak offensive line, and terrible QB play since 2016.
Detroit Lions had Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson for a decade each and never won a playoff game. Just cause you have top-end talent at the sexy positions like RB and WR doesn't guarantee you will win big. Football is a team sport more about depth, line play, and elite coaching than a few elite players like the NBA.
At the end of the day, @Swagnificent delivers what the people want every single year, and that is his draft rankings. He doesn't just generate a top five or too ten, he does an entire round with specific reasons for many players.
