I don't view Patrick Peterson as a great CB. He's just considered elite cause this is a weak era for CBs. I've seen him get beat too often by guys.
You can argue his injury history, but he has been nothing short but elite in the first 8 weeks and healthy.
They were also doing a lot of read option shotgun stuff. It wasn't a traditional NFL offense. He was running a lot of what he ran at Clemson.
We saw RG3 also have a lot of success with a gimmicky offense his rookie year only for it to get figured out in year 2.
Watson could run into a similar problem next year. Especially coming off an ACL.
I think we've seen the best of Deshaun Watson. Its only downhill from here unfortunately.
