Man u aint lying about the maintenance on them when its out of warranty .....bought a 2011 brand new and paid it off last yr but its been problem after problem the last 2 yrs with this car .... Yeah, I have 140k miles on my E60 550i. Have put about $14k in repairs into it ($10k covered by warranty) since I bought it at 37k miles. Shyt still breaks on it and I hate the fuk out of it, but love it just as much. Something about it just keeps me from trading it in or pushing it off a cliff. Was gonna trade on the Mazda 6 last week when I was facing a $1300 repair bill. Realized that $1300 is cheaper than a $24k car loan, so just fixed it again. Only enthusiasts or the severely stupid ( like me) would sink that kind of money into a worthless old BMW, but shyt...no debt.
