This was one of the best episodes the show has done, some of those scenes got to me

From the M Chuck scene w/Cam in the beginning to when Cassie pulled Cam aside and told him the truth to that ending.

Even among the serious issues, they still brought in the jokes. Catch your daughter getting dug out by your star player and surrogate son brehs

Can't wait to see how Reggie's confrontation with his dad is going to go in the season finale next week.

shyt was powerful, especially when she said she cant think and linger on it otherwise she would fall apart. Plenty plenty poor/black women do the same, since slavery if you wanna get deep, to suck shyt up and be that strong black woman who holds the family together, feeds the kids and makes her husband is happy. You dont have time to cry for yourself when shyt has to get down.

The problem with holding in that much pain is that it manifests through inappropriate outbursts and behaviors. Most of the stuff that gets causes the Angry Black Woman stereotype. You would be upset to when your feelings are disregarded and dismissed by yourself and by others. It makes women look crazy because the cause for their behavior is under the surface and never talked about. Many are in denial and have pushed the pain to the back of their mind in order to function.

It's not so different for black men either. There's a reason why black folks in America suffer from so many illnesses caused by stress.
