I first started watching Survivor in 09. So I watched all of the seasons like 2 years ago. All-stars I would say is worse than One World.I haven't seen All-Stars since I saw it but I don't remember it being bad. Might queue it up. You think Cirie was a best player? I don't remember her making many moves outside of helping Erik to off himself. Russell got a raw deal with the introduction of "duels". Poor Ozzy and I agree about Malcolm who I forgot about. Denise is another player that I favor now that her season is over. A little bit of luck kept her in but she came through.
Colton has a bad social standing with everyone but they were shook. He also got had the hidden immunity idol before he was taken out. You say Coach was only good on his third time around which I kind of agree with but you listed Boston Rob who let Amber win the first time, fumbled the second time, lost the third and just won on his fourth. He's good but I can't put him as best with a record like that.
How do you think the duels will work with three competitors? Does only one win and go back to their tribe and two people go home? Maybe one wins and rejoins with second place staying
One thing that you made me remember is that there are so many great players that never win and even more that fall short during amazing games.I first started watching Survivor in 09. So I watched all of the seasons like 2 years ago. All-stars I would say is worse than One World.
Yeah, Cirie was a phenomenal strategist and manipulator. I would say easily the best manipulator the show ever had. She dominated Exile Island, was one fire making challenge away from winning the entire thing, in FVF she dominated again more so than Paravatii and would have won if were not for the last minute twist of making the final 3 to a final 2 and in Heroes vs Villians it took a tie vote and an idol being played to take her out. Cirie is definitely a top 5 player. In FVF, she took out Ozzy, Jason etc. She basically ran the alliance.
In Boston Rob's first season he got screwed over by a tribe swap, in All-stars he dominated from start to finish and lost, because of a bitter jury, his third time Russell Hantz with the help of Paravti (2 top 5 players) took him out and in RI he dominated from start to finish like he did in all-stars. His all-star and RI games rank among the best ever.
I have no idea. They might change it up from how it was in South Pacific.
Fam, she is a PYT. I peeped and respect the camera man for the shot and the editor for leaving that in the final cut. That thang looks juicy. The reason for her getting voted out was BS and partly her fault for not being more proactive. I don't know if it was the editing but they made the rest of the tribe look OD p*ssy when she shot that glance at them. I hope she wins. I don't need to see more of Rupert or Candace. They had their time.glad i ain't the only one who shares those sentiments.
dem spandex shorts she was wearin....had to keep a pillow on top of my nuts seein as how my moms was in living room wit me

Look at the recent season with only new players. One World and Nicaragua they were both flops. While HvV, FvF, Philippines, FvF 2 were all great seasons that brought back returning players. One thing that you made me remember is that there are so many great players that never win and even more that fall short during amazing games.

This isn't directed at anyone in particular. I need Survivor to build all new contestants. Stop bringing back people that we already have an interest in for at least three seasons in a row. Build up new personalities. I also want them to cut down on hidden immunity idols as far as every tribe having one. Let it alternate between tribes and stop letting it come back as soon as it's used. I would also like to see the exile island make a return in favor of the duels.
If it's a flop then it's on CBS to pick better people learning from their mistakes. Look at how many seasons have had returning players in some facet. Six of the last ten seasons have had returning players which is by design. I'm sure that CBS has done this enough to build new personalities. Maybe they are going for the cash grab and I don't blame them but I know they can do without relying on their trump card to much.Look at the recent season with only new players. My problem is when they bring back players that brought nothing to the table in their first season like Monica, Laura etc. This is Candice's third time on Survivor. Like wtf? What has she done to be brought back so many times? Rupert is popular for some weird reason. I can't stand him. Players like Malcolm, Cirie, Ozzy etc should be brought back. Not these other no name scrubs.
I like hidden immunity idols. They add another dynamic to the game. Malcolm getting Reynold to give him his idol then in the next tribal Malcolm playing both idols. That's great fukking tv. I loved it. Russell dominating Samoa and HvV with idols. Fun to watch. The more idols the better I say. It gives the underdogs a fighting chance.
I was going back and forth on this, but I think Candice ultimately made the right move. I think it would have put more suspicion on John and her if she had gave it to anyone else. John however handled it horribly. He should have shared his clue with the dominant man's alliance. Now they all think he is shady and might target him first.I think Candace blundered in giving the clue to John. Why put a target on him? I would take the gamble and give it to someone to garner some favor. I am glad that she did because I can't stand John so hopefully that puts him in the conversation.
That's why I determine it to be a blunder. Her looking suspicious doesn't matter because she won't be in the game for a while. Him not getting it avoids the whole situation of not sharing the clue. I may even think of giving it to someone from another tribe that I don't know at all. However, they are playing a "baby I love you and I love you too" game. That's why John is already on Vytas' short list.I was going back and forth on this, but I think Candice ultimately made the right move. I was thinking that too, but what if the person who ends up getting the idol and uses it against John or her come merge? She doesn't know whats happening in the game. She could be giving it to an enemy. People in John's tribe could also think that he has an outside alliance with that person from the other tribe. That puts a huge target on his back. That's why I think the safest bet was to give it to John, but he played it wrong. That's why I determine it to be a blunder. In a game where everyone knows everyone, one of my top priorities is to keep the heat off me and my loved one. Me moreso than them. I may have this wrong but I heard that she could give it to anyone no matter the tribe. That's why I would gamble and give it to someone I don't know. Sure they could find the idol but that's the risk. I would even entertain giving it to the other tribe as strategy just to shake things up.I was thinking that too, but what if the person who ends up getting the idol and uses it against John or her come merge? Then you're running the risk of pulling a JT in HvV when he gave his idol to Russell Hantz. In a game where everyone knows everyone, one of my top priorities is to keep the heat off me and my loved one. If I were in Candace's shoes, I give the idol to someone else on John's tribe. That takes the heat off him as he doesn't know why but still gives him an opportunity to get it's contents. It could build a quasi alliance between the person who finds it, Candace and John. Of course it can all back fire but that with many moves in this game.
