Whole fight is dependent on how Danny can handle those GGG sledgehammers...Don't matter how good your legs and head movement is, its boxing, you're going to get hit...

This brothas got the right mind and skillset to dethrone this generic can crusher but no one to this point has been able to take this dude's punches without breaking down...

I got my money on black...Black excellence shall overcome freakish generic cave dweller power...

Don't think I've made my pick in here I'm gonna go with GGG by late stoppage. Breh is relentless but I'm not downplaying Danny he just needs to be on his best. And also make the proper adjustments within the fight.

of all the times to do it :francis:

Backfired now that we know PBC smashed in ratings.

Danny better be ready for GGG to pump that jab relentlessly....he knows Jacobs can crack and will not rush in lacking respect. He knows this aint limited crude power punching Lemiuex. He absolutely must be in good standing in the first 4 rounds. You combine that with Jacobs' amatuer career and we got a good fight. But he damn sure better not come in with his hands down like he did against Mora in their 1st fight where he got dropped...he wasn't hurt but he can't do that to GGG.

Stay off the ropes keep in the middle of the ring and keep a phone on your ear. Watchout for that left hook to the body and straight right hand. And uppercut GGG nonstop he is very susceptible to those. Have a mental timer if you manage to "T" off on him to dart out and get out of harm's way. Use that reach and height and do not make yourself small.

Not impossible but treat this guy like dynamite at all times. Hell get dirty with him. Take a page right out of Ward vs Kovalev when he faced a monster puncher (the strategy whether you like the result is different. ....he adjusted....)....circle...hit his body like he stole something and minimize his punch output. Do not under any circumstance take any unnecessary home run shots unless you got a Marquez-esque one vs:deadmanny: ....Keep your foot outside his lead left to avoid that right hand.

Golovkin can be upset, nobody has taken him into deep waters since Ouma. Jacobs needs to crack him in the first couple rounds hard, earn his respect, then box his ass up. The main point is dont freak out when he lands on you, as to what most of Golovkins opponents tend to do.

Jacobs getting knocked out. :mjlol: Hate it has to be him, but I think a whole lot of folks in here are setting themselves up for disappointment in thinking breh has a chance. I like both of them, and Danny may have some pop but he's been laid out and hurt before. He's definitely not going to be the aggressor. Guarantee he gets stopped before the halfway point of the fight.

Oh there's no doubt based on Jacobs getting dropped and stopped the odds of a GGG KO are high...BUT saying he can't win..unlike every other GGG opponent is imho not true. He has little margin for error but he can win.

Just hypothethically what y'all think would be the case if GGG would compete in a strong division like 154, 147 or 175...? I mean if he would fit in one of those divisions like he fits in mw now (he's a normal sized middleweight).

Would he be still the monster what he's marketed now only with a much better, already HOF resume or he would be a top 10 contender with some losses but eventually not the top of the divisions.

I know it's hard to imagine but let's say he would have the power of Maidana in 147 and the speed of idk... Danny Garcia, if it's easier to imagine like that. The rest of the things are more skills anyway.

This ain't gonna be no miracle, man

If Danny takes Golovkin's shots early, he's going to win. He can crack, and GGG gives you plenty of opportunities to land and outbox him.

Ward gave the blueprint to beating these Drago types; just fight them. Make it ugly and fight. Kkkovalev and GGG thrive when guys are afraid and back straight up. Make it a fight and you've got a good chance of getting the W.

Side note: they should've let Uncle Al and PBC promote this, no way it shouldn't be bigger.

HBO since Time Warner owns TBS and TNT I believe really really need to shift their model off their current stale platform and do like Showtime does with CBS. Put boxing shyt on TNT instead of playing Shawshank ( which I LOVE) for the millionth time.

GGG on TNT would do monster ratings. Dudes like him and Crawford who do poor PPV need to be household names and this would be perfect. Since their budget is shrinking it works perfect.

it benefits both sides. TNT is already expanding into college basketball for March Madness, a prime time fight this weekend before every kicks off would've did numbers.
