Because one great year doesn't make you the best qb already. You need longevity and to do it year after year

Aaron Rodgers had a "bad" year to some people mans he had 38 td's and 8 int's the guy has set the bar so high and still the best

So what you're saying is that it's impossible to be the best at a position for one year, and that in order to be considered the best at something over a given period of time, you also have to have been the best over a period of time greater than the period of time of which you are actually judging them.

Aha.... makes perfect sense

"B-b-b-but hes hated for his dancing!!"
Dude never even tied a lace for an NFL team and got boatloads of hate.

I dare these types who believe he's hated because he dances to dive into those comment sections of those pre and post draft articles and tell me with a straight face that the Cam hate wasn't racially coded.

That pretty much sums up my take on CN after watching him being interviewed several times. Rings true. Now for the perfect match. A team that’s desperate for hope at QB and has a recent history of making bad decisions about questionable personnel. The Bungles? The Titans? Or will he fall to the Purple Drank

    1. Kudos to Pro Football Weekly for having the guts to come right out and say what a lot of NFL people certainly must suspect about Newton.

““Very disingenuous — has a fake smile, comes off as very scripted and has a selfish, me-first makeup. Always knows where the cameras are and plays to them. Has an enormous ego with a sense of entitlement that continually invites trouble and makes him believe he is above the law — does not command respect from teammates and will always struggle to win a locker room . . . Lacks accountability, focus and trustworthiness — is not punctual, seeks shortcuts and sets a bad example. Immature and has had issues with authority. Not dependable.””

Yep, sounds like Mike Vick version 1.0

This is the part where:

  1. We're told these types are outliers
  2. That we pay too much attention to those types

I like that Sam Bradford comment because.. He wasn't lying, Cam ain't no anorexic bug eyed QB who can't throw for shyt.

For me it's all about the counter examples of Gronk, essentially exposed as a drug user this past month, or way back w functioning alcoholic Favre, they are always 'having fun out there'...
:upsetfavre:

I find its hard for even the stiffest cac to argue that Cams celebrations or' antics' are more inflammatory than either of those two.

But if you wanna try the 'ESPN set him up to fail' you're basically telling people that they are too weak minded to see the way the sports media pits them against blacks and really anything outside of the accepted plantation style sports team. 'I want a bunch of big black boys from the south with a white coach (and in the NFL a white QB) to keep em in line'... Word to that crotchety fukk Donald Sterling.. Burn slow.. I'm putting a magnet on ya pacemaker when I see ya... :demonic:

Finally let's not forget that it's widely alleged that at least one of the children Peyton's raising didn't pop out of his wife.

This dude is on with his analysis and has proven that over the years. Cam will be a bust.

Hopefully you are still on here in a few years when Cam is sharing purple drank with JaMarcus so we can all tell you “we told you so”!

Got it.. it's mostly comment sections and shyt.. I don't read those so that makes sense. I don't "ignore" it.. I like Cam Newton. I just genuinely don't hear a lot of criticism about him. He's probably the best player in the league and will make history this year.

Too many people are giving these idiots with backwards mentalities an outlet by retweeting and sharing on Facebook.

Why do American white people hate celebrations? Every other race loves them except white people. Look at the world cup every country is turnt.
