A lot of these middle aged dudes have actually accepted the concept of having their wife tell them what they can, and can't do. We were all at work talking about the NFL games this past weekend..and a supervisor said he wife doesn't allow him to watch football. He only watches when she isn't home. Another coworker said his wife won't allow him to go to bars with his homes at the gig...he's only allowed if its people SHE feels comfortable with. Neither of these cats seem upset about it...they are cool being dominated...I know shyt sounds like but its true story.. A lot of married men are content with have their balls chopped off.

Yeah, that's ridiculous. I could understand if she didn't want him going to strip clubs or going out with other women. Telling someone what they can/can't watch and that they can't hang out with same gender friends is wrong. They must be very controlling.

I don't think it's just about the unequal court system.I think some men just want a replacement mother figure so put up with it. This is why I think some men end up having affairs once children come along, it's not just about women not looking like they once did pre childbirth, these men feel starved of attention so go elsewhere . I also think single but with child women should be very cautious about bringing in a man to live with her thinking he will be a step dad. Some of these men will get jealous of the children, and it's why sometimes you read about these men abusing or killing the children.

only "restriction" i have is be home by 3am. the rule applies to both of us. and i think it's reasonable. i won't do anything that i don't want my wife to do anyway. plus i RARELY come home anywhere near 3am. i'm more of a 12 or 1am person, myself......

You see those neighbors that are constantly outside, working on their lawn, house, car etc. I remember when I first moved out of my parents house, I would see these husbands outside all the time. I own my second house now and realize how much maintenance a house needs. It's a lot of work. But I also realized is not very fun. So why in the hell are these mam constantly not inside their own house?


Because they would rather be sweating their ass's off working in the sun, the cold, on their roof etc rather than dealing with their nagging 24/7 wife.
