one thing has finally become clear to me... it took awhile, but the light bulb finally came on....
i have worked with some hardcore right wingers who swear the world is overpopulated... one of them even openly fantasizes about a meteor hitting earth or a massive war killing off millions.... these things he feels God would be okay with... an abortion, not so much.... and to me that's strange... wouldn't a meteor or a massive war kill millions of pregnant women....?
but the more i dig into this christian fundamentalism and its ties to white supremacy, it becomes crystal clear... yes, to them, the world is overpopulated... it's overpopulated with non-white people... these "christians" don't care about life, they care about white life... (really, they don't care about that either, but that's another post in another thread)....
these people truly believe that the existence of non-white people is the same as genocide of white people... in their minds "superior" white people can't exist if there are non-white people... how bizarre...
