Who told you that? :dahell:

She 100% wants to overturn Roe v. Wade. Also, Trump's evangelical supporters wanted her to be the nominee in 2018 instead of Kavanaugh specifically because of Roe v. Wade.

He wants to shore up the evangelical vote.
lol from her wiki article:
In September 2017, The New York Times reported in a controversial[dubiousdiscuss] article that Barrett was an active member of a small, tightly knit Charismatic Christian group called People of Praise.[84] The article was criticized as misleading and anti-religious.[85][86][87] Founded in South Bend, the group is associated with the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement; it is ecumenical, but about 90% Catholic.[84][88] Full members are asked to make a "covenant" to the community,[89][84] variously described as a lifelong loyalty oath to each other,[89] or a lifelong commitment to the group.[84] Members are assigned a personal advisor who gives direction on important personal decisions;[89] the advisor is called a "head".[90] The New York Times article[89] incorrectly states that a personal advisor for a woman is called a "woman leader" (formerly "handmaid").[89]

this sounds pretty crazy :merchant:

I’m depressed, any way of stopping this?
Nope, Mitch & Trump have the votes. Even if Murkowski + Collins + Romney vote against the nominee, they still will have the votes to confirm. Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett is inevitable at this point. It's only a matter of when not if.

There may not be an overturning of Roe v. Wade in the technical sense but she believes that it was incorrectly decided (so did RGB, but only because she thought in should not have been focused on the woman not the doctor). Still given the chance she would do anything to reverse that.

True. Also, Barrett is an anti-abortion Catholic.

someone correct me if im wrong, but i feel like overturning roe v wade isnt gonna make much of a difference

wouldnt it just mean that states CAN make abortion illegal if they want to? so all thats gonna happen is 5 or 6 of these redneck shytholes with like 2 abortion clinics anyway are gonna get rid of them. its not going away in any blue states, and republicans in swing states would be committing political suicide if they proposed it; they dont have the balls

considering GOP controls most states in the union, it won't just be 5 or 6

Reproductive rights is just one of many things. Entire ACA is in jeopardy. Labor rights. Voting rights. Civil Rights Act. It is incredible how much they're going to be able to wipe away with a 6-3 court.

state by state breakdown:
What If Roe Fell

the threat will essentially always be there if republicans take control of a states governor and legislature in the absence of definitive state SCOTUS rulings
