First off I thought this was understood, I didn't know this was even a question.
Second in my opinion I don't think Supernatural has had a bad season. People point to season 6 and 7 as being bad but they're not. The issue is coming off Lucifer and the Apocalypse the threats were lower level, which disappointed some people. Actually watching the episodes none of them were terrible and a lot of them were great but the threat wasn't as big so people checked out. That's just my opinion.
I always said season 6 was much better then ppl give it credit for. Souless sam stole the show every single time.
Levithian season was kinda ass though with a few top notch episodes sprinkled through

But really season 11 has been SOOO good. Already cemented itself as a top 5 season and depending on how it ends it might end up top 3.
Right now. 4/5/2/11/8. It might end up 4/5/11/2/8
And honestly supernatural has always been known for it's stand alone MOTW episodes and those episodes have been even BETTER post season 6 then they were from seasons 1-5(Mystery spot will probably always be the best MOTW episode though)

And honestly supernatural has always been known for it's stand alone MOTW episodes and those episodes have been even BETTER post season 6 then they were from seasons 1-5(Mystery spot will probably always be the best MOTW episode though)

soulless sam was a beast. he ran through everything not giving a fukk.
the problem with the leviathans is that they were hyped through the moon, and didnt live up the hype. one of gods earlier creations locked away, known for cosumption? ok you think they are gonna savagely run over everything topside. immune to angelic influence? yeah, these dudes are gonna beast. instead they just shapeshift and eat a few people, and try to turn people into cows. didnt help that they could be beaten in the weakest way possible, and on top of all that were knocked out of the park in one go. but one thing they will be remembered for is taking out the bobby "HoH" singer.

Yea I agree with everything here. Once there weakness were revealed to be Clorox I was over that season.
But "Death's Door" will always be a top 10 episode of supernatural. The more I think about it the more I realize there are a lot of post season 6 episodes that are in my top 20 then I first realized. There's a couple season 8 episodes that were just
The trials. The finale with the angels falling (To this day I believe that's the best scene in the history of the show. Dean holding sam as he's on his last breath after almost sacrificing himself to close the gates of hell and angles are just dropping from the sky)

honestly, that last moment when bobby is dying, and his last memory to live through is just watching sam and dean bicker over nonsense gets me. no major shyt, just family. that episode prevented that entire season from being trash.
