I see you dont have much experience around transgender so you're just ignorant about it, but majority of them tell you up front, in Thailand they have IDs which tell you and its very illegal for them to hide it. Most know that lying would cause a major society set back. If the majority were tricking men, trust me, there would be a lot of blow back (no pun).
Majority of trannies in brazil and thailand leave me the fukk alone, they can 'sense' when men are there specifically for them....actually men are quite open with wanting relations with them. My turkish neighbor being one of them.
Yes there are men that WANT and LOOK for transgender women, those men are just not open to it, but if you've ever been to a red light district, they out there. Holding hands and all that. They know and dont care. You be like "you know thats a dude right" they be like "yea I know, she hot huh?"

It wouldnt bother me if the U.S turned into a Thailand/Brazil tbh. Again, it doesn't bother men. Im from cali, we have them, they have their own little clubs, you see them walking hollywood blvd. everyone just minds their business, they go about theirs, we go about ours. Those looking for the scene know how to find it, and those not about that life know how to avoid it. Don't listen to me tho, Im a staunch progressive, and I wish societies were a bit more lawless. I feel like we've got too many restrictions, laws and are baby sat too much by governments, I feel like people should be able to do whatever the fukk they want (as long as you're not harming, stealing, or hurting people), but thats another thread.
