Superman is stronger in terms of lifting/grappling.
They are comparable in striking strength.
Superman is hilariously orders of magnitude faster than Thor in terms of reflexes and reaction times, this is not a debate. Superman can perceive and operate in nanoseconds, he can trace signals at light speed and accelerate his perception of time to keep up with Flash.
Superman is arguably more durable, he survived two super planets (Apokalips and New Genesis) crashing into each other and he took a supernova to the face. Though both times he was rendered unconscious.
Thor on the other hand was having trouble trying to hit Wolverine, Wolverine a fukking street tier character. Magic lightning doesn't mean shyt when you can move and react at relativistic speeds to (1c) speeds to dodge said lightning.
I would like to say it would be a close fight but realistically, the discrepancy in speed, reaction time and reflexes while having comparable strength and durability makes this an easy choice.
This fight is almost like Prime Ali vs Sonny Liston. If 22 year old Ali could dance around him, imagine what Ali in his prime could do.
I don't know why people are bringing up Sentry, who bodied Thor in both their fights. Hell, in the second fight Sentry blitzed Thor "speeds not even a God of Asgard could withstand". Sentry LET Slowdinson kill him in their first fight.

your scans ARE out of context. youre making it seem like thor is powerful enough to kill celestials under his own power, when in fact he had a special enchanted weapon SPECIFICALLY made to kill them. he is not using mjolnir. thor used lighting to seal the moon not move it. once again you didnt even read what you posted. or know the context behind what you posted.

The Axe Thor used was his axe jarnborn was his before mjolnir. Yes he had it enchanted but it doesn't mean It’s not him performing the feat. And you still post no scans. Seriously could you post some?
Aight breh. You got me. I miss read that the Jl crossover was only cannon in DC, since it's referenced in Brightest day but no where in 616. Jarjnborn is still Thor's weapon, he used it before Mjonir and for about 2-3 years after he was unworthy.
