Binged watched this a few weeks ago and one thing i noticed throughout the whole series is that Clark got his ass kicked...ALOT.
Sure he would win in the end but it’s damn near always by the skin of his teeth.
Metallo was giving him that WORK in every episode he was in.
The final 2 episodes of the series was wild. Even though Supes “won” in the end. Darkseid still had the last laugh. Would have been interesting if they gave one more season to see how Superman moved since the world didn’t trust him. Could have lead to the creation of the Justice League.

The continuation is Justice League they didn't form up until those first 3 episodes. A lot of the league members were already introduced in Supermans show.

Honestly, the Worlds Finest 3 part episode in s2 is probably my favorite cartoon episodes ever and a reason these two are my favorite superheroes everBest Superman TAS episode?
I have to go with The Late Mr. Kent. My favorite Superman centric episode though is the justice league episode when he's in the apocalyptic future with Vandall Savage.

you didnt even mention the scene Clark runs to Lois apartment at night to gossip about Lex & Bruce, and Bruce is just sitting there on the couch like
I dont think any TV/Movie has ever shown Bruce Wayne in coolest light than this 3 parter, even in a later/final crossover episode, Bruce & Lois have a scene and shes talking about she never really got over him
