I liked this a lot. It felt like the start of something. It has an almost modern YA vibe to it.

They did a good job of bringing in additional characters, that they can use going forward, and a decent, under-utilized villain in Parasite that he can actually fight. Look forward to seeing how they get The Justice League off in this format.

I fux with the animation. It's like Max Fleischer's Superman and 'Love & Rockets' had a baby.

I just got done seeing it and it was a lot better than I expected it to be. The art style reminds me a lot of the Venture Bros. The 3rd act was kinda long and definitely could have been edited shorter.

This was fire. One of the best animated superhero movies I've seen in a long ass time. From the story to the writing, they killed it.

And I loved the animation style.

I have never been a big fan of The Parasite as a character so making him the main villain automatically dropped the quality of the movie for me and making him be a Parasite Kaiju just mad it worse.
Also hated the aw shucks overly earnest Superman.
Lobo was cool and enjoyed the stuff with Martian Manhunter.

This art style is some mid.

Edit: NVM. I like it. It has a slight Genndy Tartakovsky feel to it. But still not better than the Justice League Dark animation. It's not fluid.
