I've had people tell me this is the type of shyt current comic fans want. My breh had me on the floor (pause) telling me about Cyclops and Wolverine fukking now. And the X-Men books are selling well, by comic standards. Maybe we've reached a point where the nerd class has enough LGBTQ people that this is what they want. Or maybe it's a marketing stunt to hopefully bring some of those people in. I dunno fam.


I just find it interesting that everyone who makes content we once considered male dominant (Bond, Star Wars, comics, Star Trek, fantasy novels, shooting games, etc) have all come to the same conclusion that basically...white dudes aren't that important anymore and it's time to get these other people in the mix. I don't know what the metrics or numbers are, but everyone moving in this direct must suggest that there's data that tells them this is the wave.
