I hated guardians as well. Thought the humor was forced. Too many characters laughing hysterically at their own jokes.
Which is why i've been skeptical of not only this superman movie, but james Gunn running the entire DC movie divsion in generenal.
Even when you nail the humor it gets dated fast. Because it rely too much of cultural references.
Iron Man made the myspace joke dates that movie
Zuri saying what are those? dates the movie
Hulk dabbing in endgame dates the movie
Peter Dance off to end the movie is only funny on first watch and then anticlimactic everytime you see afterwards.

i prefer real situational humor that the characters would naturally make in the moment. Like Black Widow teasing cap about being a bad kisser. or Rhodey going boom looking for this until he gets validation and acts proud of himself. Falcon and Bucky refusing the move the seats for each other. That is character building and doesn't age the movie. But that would require good writing and realistic dialogue. As opposed to characters just taking turns doing amatuer comedy routines and making pop culture references

Switch funny with good/great and you just described every marvel movie except the cap sequels to me

Not speaking about anyone in particular in here but Snyder fans calling this movie goofy and cheesy after the slop he delivered takes a lot of nerve.



Besides we all know little clips and teasers are not great barometers to judge what a film will be like. I mean Snyder had epic trailers but the movies he delivered were trash.

This looks like and is colored like All Star Superman. It's gonna be fukking awesome. I'm certain.

I didn't mind that scene cause my wife just bought a bernedoodle puppy and that little shyt acts the same way

Based on what I've seen online, the reaction to the Superman sneak peek (and yes, Krypto) has been mostly positive.
