Also, you don't introduce a character like Darkseid already.

I'm wondering if these are just glorified cameos to show Superman is not the only hero in the world. I'm not a fan of cameos and Easter eggs so hopefully there's a balance of showing other characters without taking away from the story.

I believe that Gunn said the other DC characters are mainly cameos to show that other heroes exist in this universe. However, it's still a Superman-centric film.

As for this movie I'm giving Gunn Liberty to get his vision out and will watch the first batch of DCU films and shows open minded before I form a decision. Like unless this shyt is super ass I'm gonna let it ride. Same way I gave the last star wars shyt rum way to tell their story before I officially deemed it trash

No, not necessarily. Multiple Green Lanterns exist at the same time in the comics. There's no reason why they couldn't in the DCU.

Anyway, here's my actual opinion on the trailer:

I'm a big Supes fan, but I found the trailer to be just... OK. I feel like they left a lot out (which I guess makes sense; it's a teaser).

I want to be another trailer to fully access my thoughts.
