I love those joints but lets be real it was heavily influenced by the tv show. And while it got the gothic/macabre element all that was somewhat overwritten by the campy tone of the films.Batman is not campy nor should his movies have had disney like orchestra playing during scenes. When we were kids it was acceptable but looking back Burton's arrogance was outta hand

I disagree. They had their campy moments but remember that the comics weren't that different yet. The wave of comics turning darker and more serious had only just begun and not yet fully caught on. The movies were based on the stuff before that wave because it was the Batman most people were familiar with.

Also, Burton only really showed his hand in Batman Returns which was more a Burton than a Batman movie, but I can forgive it because it's actually the most layered of the Batman movies with the trifecta of Batman, Catwoman and Penguin as animal-themed vigilantes who show deeper resentment towards humanity the more they embrace their animal side. It's even visible in the original poster which features the three characters in a 'totem'.

they also need to get away from anyone associated with the nolans and their stench like a goyer. We dont need acolytes trying to mimic his style we need a fresh set of creative minds with their own vision..WB need to do this right MoS and TDKR in many ways proved this money team WB think they have with nolan is a fallacy
The Nolan films make for interesting stories...but shytty Superhero movies. I never understood why it's so fukking hard to make these movies, the fans just want the stories from the comics brought to life (with minor twist to keep it fresh).

Look at the Avengers vs. DKR, IMO DKR had the better story but the Avengers had Superhero's doing Superhero shyt, Hulk smashing buildings, Ironman with his gadgets, etc. fukk reality!! I want see Batman's style be a mix between Spiderman's & Captain America's movements. I wanna see a dope Batmobile and Batcave, I don't want a tank and a Batcave that looked like it was under construction for 3 movies :mindblown:. Nolan told Bruce Wayne stories...I want a Batman movie!!

100% true. RT @BilgeEbiri: "Batman will be in the next Superman film." TRANSLATION: "The new Superman film didn't do as well as we hoped."”

that makes no sense...batman begins did around $375 mil total (domestic & foreign) at the box office; mos (which is the 'batman begins' equivalent of this trilogy) is about to double that...this supe/bats movie is only happening so they can rush towards the jl movie....

as for this movie: if done right, it could be special...hopefully they have them working together instead of fighting each other...I say that cause them working together would allow for both characters to be used to their full potential instead of having to weaken one to make the other look 'strong'...

I like the idea of introducing bats in this movie...there is no need to start a new batman franchise to reintroduce him....everyone knows the story...also, it would only delay the ultimate goal of a jl movie...they can start the new franchise after they introduce him in this movie...I do think they need to introduce others before the jl movie, especially ww...she's part of the dc trinity...she doesn't need her own movie before the jl movie, but they should put her in something before hand....they can start her franchise after the jl movie...

oh yea, I like the idea of a flash movie, but it should be done after the jl movie...I say that cause flash is a known character, but he's not known enough to carry a franchise without some type of introduction to him...and if the movie doesnt do well, that could hurt the momentum of the jl movie...they should do him like ww, just introduce him in something before jl, then do the franchise afterwards...

on a side note: I know dc wants to make that money like marvel, which they can, but they have to go about it differently...in fact, they need to do the opposite of marvel and drop the team movie first, then drop individual movies...I say that cause marvel draws people into their characters with action; where as dc draws people into their characters cause of the stories....which is cool, but doesn't necessarily make for good comic book movie money (see green latern)...so dc needs to drop the action movie first to draw people in, then drop the story movies to keep them engaged

I'm not into these faggy stan wars at all. I like Marvel and DC equally but here's some facts for some of you in here talking shyt. Man of Steel has done $635M worldwide. Captain America did $368M worldwide. Thor did $449M worldwide. The Incredible Hulk did $263M worldwide. The only Marvel solo film to do more than Man of Steel is Iron Man 3 and that's largely due to the success of Avengers and because Downey Jr. is a God in this business. Without Downey Jr. Marvel Studios ain't doing record business and they know it. A-list actors still matter..

its not a part of the other movies but Amazing Spider-Man did over 700 mill at the box office. :manny:

1. Kinda shows that Man of Steel flopped heavy.
2. It doesn't matter if Catwoman shows up in the sequel alongside Superman and Batman and Hathaway plays her role topless the whole movie; movie's still gonna be :trash: as long as Zack Snyder's attached to direct it.

:dwillhuh: The movie made 635M in a month

The first Iron Man made 585M total.
Iron Man 2 - 624M total
Iron Man 3 - 1.2B total :wow: But that's after the Avengers and the Marvel Universe going full throttle.

I'm hoping that the movie doesn't have Batman as the co-star.

Maybe just have Bruce in a few scenes doing business with Lex, touring Metropolis, meeting Clark, then have him show up towards the end as Bats to help save the day.

Scene after the end credits with :smugdraper in the crazy ass Batcave storing some Kryptonite for a rainy day.

We don't need another Batman origin story. We know who he is.

In the Flash movie just have cameos from a couple of the other Justice League members and they'll be set.

Marvel's way obviously work. But you don't need to have individual films to sell a movie with Batman/Superman/WW/Flash/GL/Aquaman. The Flash movie is important. Putting out another Green Lantern will hurt.

I'm sure people called the Iron Man movie unnecessary before it came out too. Flash is about to crush the buildings, brehs...
I highly doubt that. Iron Man is huge in the Marvel Universe and probably has more story background than the whole JL put together. Iron Man was very necessary and everyone knew it.
