It's funny because there's enough of us, that if we all pooled our support behind one candidate they'd likely win the nom.

Instead, we are voting for Biden "because he's the dude who can win" and criticizing Sanders for being a millionaire / not supporting reparations when Biden is also all of that.

Support Biden if you want, but just recognize that he's not a pro-black candidate. Silly to criticize other candidates for not being pro-black enough, when that's who you support.

Same story here. Worked 3 jobs from May 2009 when I graduated HU in the height of the great recession, until Dec 2011 when an opportunity came along. 3 jobs barely making over 60k and only getting 4 hours of sleep per night was my life.

I actually remember the bankruptcy bill when it happened and how livid I was over it because I was obsessed with debt management at the time. These issues aren't just things I'm reading about in the abstract over some random tweets and forming an opinion about. I've watched people I love die from lack of healthcare. I know people who's lives have been destroyed by the justice system. These are the REAL "tangibles" I operate on.

For real. These Bootstraps head had no idea what kind of,monster the 2008-2011 years were. The uncertainty that the job that you (barely) manage to get could be lost at any given time over "cuts" and "competitive work", the violations that the higher ups at them jobs were getting away with, the extra work that you were never compensated for, your personal life was on hold, the dreams that the education system said that they lied to you about.
