get this for lag. I had matches online that were smooth as offline.not sure if that lag helped me, but finally won a battle after a long ass bit.
It exceeded the hype imo. The fact that it has decent netcode and 1v1 online with no items makes this a game I'll be playing for years. Also now that Nintendo finally is in the current gen and can update games with DLC and patches, the game will be supported for a long time.
Oh yeah for sure, don't get me wrong the game itself is dope, but to me it's there's not much new to the game. If anything online and 8 player smash are the new things to me. Single player mode is wack comparred to melee and brawl. At it's core the game is great with shyt load of content and technically it's fantastic with 8 player smash running at 60fps and the great net code. It's just that as someone who has been playing the games since 64, it hasn't really done much for me.It exceeded the hype imo. I see nothing wrong with it as it's just there as something to play to get stuff to unlock. The Subspace emissary from Brawl was kind of wack though. It looked cool but it was kind of boring. Adventure mode from Melee was pretty cool though, I'd like that to return along with break the targets and board the platforms.
Smash Tour I haven't got into much but it felt boring but again I barely got into it. I'd prefer Smash Run from the 3DS version.
Event mode is crack though. Check that out. Oh and Master orders mode too. That mode is like a randomized event mode for unlocking things.
There's a crazy amount of content in the game, it's just buried under menus and shyt.
Anyway how y'all liking custom equipment?? I just now started checking em out and I like it. I like being able to have different movesets for characters. I haven't gotten anything new for Lucina yet as I'd like to see her other moves but I got some for other characters.

Brehs is giving me that WORK online. I just played this sonic that seriously gave me a fukking smackdown. It's like I'm playing some high level cats online I gotta step my game up

They got everything hidden, its like an achievement to start an offline fight. Im finding shyt by accident. I was looking for classic smash, so I can go through and fight and unlock new characters, I couldnt find that shyt for like 40 minutes, ended up playing the board game, finding level creator, smash stadium....im going to have to wait for a guide to come out because I dont know who is even unlockable and how to unlock them. I fought 10 rds in some mode and there was something like "new challenger approaches!!!" and I fought falco, and now I have falco...i dont even know where I was or what I was doing, but I know there are more fighters.
how do you unlock movesets and shyt?
