I'm blown away by the insane roster on this game from such a wide array of characters in gaming.
What other company can create a game with such a pull?? Damn near every great gaming character is in this shyt.
How can someone not like this shyt?? (except @Liquid NBA LIVE/FEZ stannin azz)

Most of these gamers unfairly look down on Nintendo. Just in another topic someone called the Wii U a 'good secondary console'. Meanwhile it has the best game of every genre.

Best Online Multiplayer Shooter - Splatoon
Best Racing Game - Mario Kart Wii U
Best Fighting Game - Super Smash Bros. Wii U
Smash Bros. has Sonic, Mega Man, Ryu, Cloud, Bayonetta plus iconic Nintendo characters.
When Xenoblade recently came out they didn't bother stickying the thread. Meanwhile all these fags are jerking off to Fallout 4.
To be honest, the reason some gamers look down on Nintendo isn't because of the actual games, but the consoles themselves. I'm quite sure if Nintendo made a console that was pound for pound like a PS4 or XB1 with specs to match, it'd be a force to be reckoned with. I know it's a crap shoot but I doubt the NX will fix the issues Nintendo has had for so long(poor third party support, archaic designs(no optical out on Wii U/No Ethernet Port), lackluster online etc. They seem to be making strides towards fixing that with the NX from the info we've seen(Nintendo Account system, Modern powerful hardware etc.)

I think this is a grave issue with contemporary gamers. Many of you seem more concerned with bleeding edge graphics than actual gameplay. I will take a legitimate fun game like Splatoon over Call of Duty/Gears of War/Halo any day. What is the point of a game that can render 10 quadrillion polygons per second when it's a fukking snorefest like Assassin's Creed or Star Wars Battlefront? I do agree with you in that if Nintendo made a powerful console they would easily win the 'console wars'. But I think such a realization is sad because people seem to care more about those things than fun gameplay mechanics.
From a business perspective Nintendo deliberately uses antiquated because it costs less. The original gameboy was a pathetic machine but they still managed to sell alot and beat Sega's game gear (which had a bigger screen, uses color, etc.). The original Wii had pathetic hardware specs as well but they sold 100+ million units. I bet they made alot of money off of that (minimizing cost, maximizing profit).
Many people seem to think that the Nintendo NX is another console. The president of Nintendo has stated that the NX isn't the successor to the Wii U or 3DS (Nintendo NX Will Not Be Successor To Wii Or Wii U). Yet the crazy internet rumors persist.
If the NX were a highend console (like the PS4) then I think Nintendo will lose alot of money. Contrary to popular opinion, making a bleeding edge console isn't the way to go. The games have to be fun first and foremost.

I don't think a game has to have bad graphics to be good gameplay wise. There are countless games out today and in the past that had state of the art graphics and visuals yet were a blast to play. Nintendo 1st party games though despite not being on a powerful system has great looking artstyles which help.
