I got the game yesterday. Ive never played a Smash game before.

When playing online my matches kept laggin and timing out.

Nintendo sent me a notice saying that they would prevent me from playing if I continued having connections issues.

Smh - turns out its their issue...

yeah, that always irked me. Kinda bugged me when Sakurai said to get the adapter thing for to prevent lagging out because I knew what we were in for. and like someone said it's a shame it's happening with a great game like smash, because I'm not having this lag trouble in splatoon. But I'm glad there's far less to no lag than smash 4 tho especially in 4 player smash and team battles. so I hope they can do something to iron it out.

Yup. I can't believe Nintendo would push that shyt...and act like the lack of dedicated servers is normal for a P2P online service.

just know this tho. The meta score is one notch lower than Brawl aka the worst smash game of the bunch. and people on there are complaining about the lag in the comments.

To be fair the complaints weren’t about latency issues though right? It was about microtransactions (which I would argue is an even WORSE issue)
