Started playing Quick Play online. It's not too bad, only really experienced lag once. The only real problem is the randomness of the matches. I went a whole match without even realizing I was on a team because it started off as a FFA

I'm surprised at how many trash players there are online.
I can't be THAT good.

Yup!

I hopped into matches with Inceneroar expecting to get pwned because he's not high tier and I'm not that great at the game. But the CPU is way harder than most humans.

I won a bunch of matches once I figured out what style of player I was playing against. You can tell some people just watch combo vids and exploits but have no idea how to adapt.

switch up your preferred rules to

1 on 1
stock
2
3 mins
form

and the you'll either get 3 stock battles in battle fields or 2 stock in form levels. Haven't been in a random match since.

So many things Nintendo could do to take this game to legendary status fairly easily.
I think a playground mode would also be great - Infinite lives, custom item rules, let anyone on your friends list drop in or drop out at any time.
Do they have a tag team mode, or survival mode against friends? Cause that would be dope as well.

They have some great modes locked to local play only.
Smashdown is where everyone must pick a new character every round. So, everyone is forced to try new people every round. But no online
Squad strike is the mode where every stock is a different fighter. So a tag team mode kind of, but no actual tagging, just replace on deah. But again, local play only.

It's frustrating

I actually have no idea. I have to re watch that one smash direct that showed what that feature on the app was gonna do for the game.

I have God of war, Spider-Man, red dead 2, and the battlefield v that @FireDwaneCasey put me up on and yet I'm addicted to smash brothers.

I'm trying to win every battle in this World of Light. Even if I gotta come back to it in the future. I'm taking Link all the way to the last fight. I'm like a crackhead addicted to this shyt. Been unlocking a bunch of random fighters. Got peach and pikachu tonight far as the ones I can recall and recognized. Had to stop for the night cuz if not I'll be up for another hour not getting anything else done.

I just finished 100% World of Light. Took ~32 hours
