The graphics look seriously clean on the TV. It looks way better than Smash Wii U in person than it does online. The lighting changes, the animations and all the new visual flairs/effects make this look really sharp.
Also, anyone else feel like the controls are slightly "off" or is it me? I feel like this feels different compared to Smash Wii U much more than I anticipated.
Like something I can't quite put my finger on. I'm using the GC controller. I'm reading others online mentioning input lag but idk. I feel like I'm just not playing as well as I should be.

My fingers feel like trash trying to guide the char around the screen to do what I want, but I took that as a side effect of coming from the wiimote to a pro controller..

Yup. Actual themed based fights that closely matches the characters history and then a nice battle at the end that is exclusive for some.
I haven't touched Spirits mode yet.
I've been getting beat by lvl 9 cpu. I feel so pathetic I enjoy this

Got to play for a about an hour and half last night, unlocked 5 characters just playing smash against the cpu (Ness, Zelda, Pit, Bowser, & inkling)
Link’s always been more of a secondary character for me, but the remote detonation on his bombs now are
. Simple tweak that adds a whole new depth to his character, will definitely use him a bit more and he may even lock in a spot in my top 5.
Bowser is who I usually play with and he’s as beasty as ever. Hyped to try out all the other characters but I am glad I unlocked him early
