Yes and no. The thing about Smash is that it brings the worst out of everybody. Even people who wouldn't count themselves among the "Smash community" (usually in reference to the competitive scene) can't seem to just enjoy the game without being a$$holes to either Nintendo or other people who play. It also doesn't help that the fan base across the board is probably the most demanding and ungrateful in all gaming.

That said, there are a lot of people who just want to play the damn game and stay out of the drama. It sucks that they have to constantly be lumped in with the idiots.

Ironically a robust online system would solve this. The reason there are so many vocal weirdos is because they had to go out of their way to find places with like minded people offline and online. If I could just hop on and get some games in I probably wouldn't even engage with the Smash community. But damn you gotta go find people in real life to get some good games going. And when you find them...

Na
A lot of palettes was dope but I'm finna be that guy: All the human characters in the game there should be more Black/Dark skins. All I seen was villager, inkling, and Ken. Even if fans & developers are on that :mjpls: I dont see a reason why 1-2 out of 8 skins can't have a different complexion. I don't want to hear no "but their culture...but we got...but there's already... but there's no character that's...." bullsht :comeon: Virtually nothing comes up in the search about in google and what I did find is mental gymnastics on other forums saying Ganondorf was black and that there's, sht you not, Mr. game & watch and fukking donkey kong :snoop::snoop::snoop:. There are literally more lizards than black people in this game brehs. The last direct shined light on how much effort they put into the languages that even the pokemon have different voices depending on the language but they don't have skins to reflect the community?:why:Hella people I grew up around been loyal supporters of Nintendo and Smash for two decades now and we can't even get some alt skins for our favorite characters? :gucci: Sht got me a bit conflicted tbh. If they had a feature to select our own palettes and what not then that'd be dope, but other than that the game looks quality:hubie:

I don’t need skins of non customizable characters being Black

That’s dumb

Still on the fence with this. It would be the ONLY reason I copped a Switch. Would hope to have something my nephews and my gf could play but also want to play competitively.

I feel like Smash fans hype EVERYTHING and truth be told, I can't identify with these people. :hubie: I feel like the hype is gonna die down like it always does and I'll be looking at my Switch like :beli:

I also still have no real answer for how the online is gonna be. :francis:

Will have 2 games on switch.

Kart and Smash

What about:

Mario Odyssey
BOTW (best game on the Switch)
Splatoon 2 (very active multiplayer)
Xenoblade 2
Octopath Traveler
Bayonetta 1 + 2

Don't get how people will get a Switch and only get 1 or 2 games. Oh and Tales of Vesperia (best Tales of game) comes out in January.

:ohlawd: This looks soo good.

Classic mode looks like a classic!
:damn:

i like that classic mode is back to its smash 64 roots, and i like that gigabowser retained his theme, but i wish at the end, they had a remix of smash 64s all clear theme, even if its no longer fitting in the game
