Anyone can help me here? I’m thinking of copping a Nintendo switch finally. I got a five year old and a 1 year old ( both girls). Do you think they will like the switch? What other games should I get and what accessories?

I mean ur 1 old will probably break it or crack it if she likes to throw stuff
I have 5 kids and they love it
My youngest is 1 1/2 I dont let him play with it unless im next to him cuz I can see him being mad losing and throwing that shyt :russ:
But it's a good system for kids
I'm always strongly in favor for nintendo systems for kids tho
Been good for mine

I play mario kart 8 with my kids and plan on getting smash and mario party next to beat there ass in :mjlol:

People on the Smash Bros reddit are birching about their exclusion hard...I pointed out the same thing you did, the fact that the devs are giving us an adventure with cutscenes in addition to a 74 player roster and 100+ stages, 1000+ songs....and got hit with downvotes
People are impossible to please when it comes to Smash. People want these games to have like 50+ unique characters (cause remember, they hate clones/echo fighters) that appeal to their specific tastes, a fully fleshed out single player platformer mode with HD cutscenes, hundreds of trophies to collect, at least a dozen single player modes all fully fleshed out, and a robust online mode. The fans demands are just not realistic.

I'm not one to call fans entitled. They're paying customers and are allowed to dislike things. But with this game, I really can't think of another word to describe it. I just can't fathom watching these three directs, seeing all the content and effort put into refining this game, and still being upset at the little shyt that didn't make it in.

I've seen people say they would take less characters and stages if it meant home run contest came back. Like....really? Who was even playing that dumb shyt like that?

Bruh you can't bring hate like that into the Switch thread either. This game is gonna have a 90% attach rate easy. I promise not all friends are this bad.
Nah breh. They took out trophies and made Piranha Plant DLC instead of that one character from a Mario RPG no one's played. People are cancelling their preorders in droves!

Co-sign the bolded. We all have those one or two characters we wish could have been in, but the entitlement is really real with this fanbase. Cats want everybody and their mama to be in Smash Bros. We got Ridley, K. Rool, and every character ever from all of the previous games and I still see cats online having legit arguments over Toad, Waluigi, and Waddle Dee :mjlol:

EDIT: I grew up with Mario RPG, and even I don't think that Geno really NEEDS to be playable. If he gets in, cool, but I don't think he's a must-have character by any means. If him and Mallow had been in a few more games then I think I'd be more interested in seeing them, but as it stands now, Geno's a one and done character.

if being a one and done was a reason to keep a character out, then that cuts out the fire emblem characters outside of marth, theres a bunch of one and dones in the series

The difference with Geno is that he doesn't have much of a presence even in his own franchise. Geno was a one-shot character who wasn't even the main protagonist of his own game.
While Fire Emblem definitely has a lot of one shot characters, they also added...

Ike- Main protagonist of two major Fire Emblem titles.
Robin, Lucina, Chrom- Main characters of the game that pretty much saved the franchise and is arguably the most successful title in the series.
Roy- Okay, I'll give you Roy. I don't think he was worth adding. He's :flabbynsick: in his own game, and to my knowledge, FE6 isn't exactly a fan favorite compared to other games in the series. Educate me if I'm wrong though.
I don't know enough about Corrin to have an opinion on him/her.

My point is this. As cool as Geno is, he isn't super important to the Mario franchise as a whole. (Most of) the Fire Emblem characters you're talking about are still very important to the franchise as a whole despite only appearing in a few games.
I like Geno and I'll be happy if he gets in, but I'm not holding my breath for him. But who knows? They added a generic piranha plant. We could get Geno and Mallow a couple of months after launch for all I know. Sakurai's just doing whatever he wants at this point.:lolbron:
