I understand the MVD one since there was some good money on the line from what I remember.

:mjlol: that first one tho is literally why I pick Toon Link sometimes because of his outrageous disjoints in his hitboxes.

Yo I fukks with PowerA the long way now:banderas:

I got one of their wireless GameCube controllers for smash back in January and from day one the rubber on the stick was shredding off like crazy. Rode it out until half of it was bald, took the controller apart and flipped the stick around so the balding part was on the other side. I ended up using it until the stick was ground down the plastic base, so I grabbed a wired one as a cheap replacement and noticed that the rubber was much more durable, so i hit up their warranty support online regarding the first one and they sent me a brand new wireless controller within about a couple weeks. Told me to “discard” the OG controller I had but fukk that, that’s the guest controller now :mjlit:

They’ve made modifications to these since release too. On both the wired & wireless models I got at later dates, they lowered the left thumbstick a teeny bit, heightened the C stick, and probably most importantly for smash, the triggers click in sooner so you don’t have to press down as far. Looks like they used a harder, more durable rubber for the sticks too. Feels great for smash in every aspect

Don’t use these controllers for any other game but I fukkin love em:ohlawd:

I might need to cop one. But using a controller ONLY for smash got me like :beli:

I have a wired pro and wireless pro. We played 6 players smash at my family's crib over the holiday and boy is this game TRASH with a single joycon. I'd cop more controllers if I constantly had the fam around

Current mains: Isabelle, Jigglypuff. I went from 105K to 4.7M with Jigglypuff. :wow: The struggle was so real. I fux with Jiggs cuz she can get good momentum and easy KO's if you tech chase correctly. But damn she's easy af to kill. I've died to a lot of lame people in quickplay. Isabelle is still my best character but I get bored because of how lame the matches can get.

Working on Ken for the fukkery. He's a high execution character but he's really satisfying to play.

The $25 wired one really isn’t a bad value if you play smash a lot:manny:

My joycons have drifting issues and even my pro controller tweaks out every once and a while, so I delegate the GC controllers strictly for smash to mitigate wear & tear. Plus the kid her friends will sometimes play the switch so I ain’t taking no chances with their messy asses:hubie:

They think the GC controller looks weird and won’t even touch it #LifeHacks:mjgrin:

I'm passionate and competitive too but I have a job and a life so a loss in the game just doesn't have the impact for me that it does for some of these dudes.

I’m trying to get most of the characters in the 4M range online but it’s been tough, I stepped away for a few weeks. Won a few games effortlessly as Fox and Bowser though :obama:
