Actually as an RPG its pretty flawed. The combat is basic and timing for the action inputs like repeated jump attacks.

BUT

The story albeit simple is executed flawlessly.

The world building is A1 and most of it is done with you as an active participant.

The dialogue and sight gags still hold up.

Creative enemies and bosses

Really combines Nintendo and Sqaures DNA seamlessly

One of the best optional Boss Fights in Culex
