Why did this game show up on my Amazon home page and when i clicked on it to preorder it said:

This item will be released on December 31, 2019.

they never announced the date it'll drop. Same w/ LA.

MM2 at least gave a month it should drop which is June.

Never played the first one but I’m down. I was a huge fan of little big planet which I still think is the goat “make your own level” game

It looks like Nintendo is doing the whole 'one big game a month' strategy like they did back in 2017. Link's Awakening is coming out in Sept-Dec which leaves 3 other big games. I guess Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing would be 2 of those. There seems to be one other game (maybe Pokemon).

It's insane how many things they added in game. It's almost like the first game was an outline or something. It really goes to show you the amount of polish Nintendo puts into this game and this game has almost 40 years of Mario history stuffed into it. On top of that the constant updates Nintendo will likely put into the game.

I just thought about something, Super Mario Odyssey had a shytload of costumes and they all needed to be made 8 bit for the 2D sections.
They have to put them in Mario Maker 2 for the SMB1 skin
