Didn't get the first mario maker... how many of the levels are actually decently designed as opposed to making things as difficult as possible or one of those autoplay type of levels?

There's a story mode with decent levels in it and then there's an endless mode with several difficulties that queue up random levels.

That's pretty cool, but I'm happy with the Pro controller. I DO have an 8BitDo Wireless SNES classic controller, and it's the shyt. Spitting image of an SNES controller, very impressive.

I have played a few of the top levels now and genuinely think my Game Of Thrones and Miyamoto Dream levels are a cut above .

How the heck do I get them more plays though? Is there a trick?

Re miyamotos dream -
There are 8 ways to clear it, including one that you can do in less than 30 seconds.
The hammer brothers entry point is the most complex deliberately.
Lots of thought was put into that level to make sure no end was impossible.

Have a try at my game of thrones level if you get time..
Its got even more ways to get from start to end...but it’s harder.
