I finished today and it’s ok. It somewhat shamelessly takes elements from Top Boy and season one of Heroes and mixes it together.

The writing and dialogue (especially with the Tazer plot line) was very cliche but it’s a somewhat enjoyable watch. Ghetts was really good as the villain in this and he’s definitely got a future with acting. I could see him making a similar transition into acting like Bashy did.

As a born and raised Londoner, I’m still waiting for a time where we can have black stories based in the city and gangs aren’t part of the narrative. Especially in a show like this where it’s Sci-FI.

With that being said, if I wasn’t a taken man, I’d be taking Nadine Mills to STK and letting her order whatever she wants :wow:

I watched the first episode and I fukked with it heavy. I've been a fan of UK rap since 2009 so I'm fairly familiar with Black British culture. Based on what I've seen so far this show is heroes meets top boy. The black women on this show are gorgeous :wow:
