If you from Boston than why you ain't down with Wally Sparx? :troll:

There's no if about it bruh, I'm born and raised in Mattapan, MA. And honestly I never heard of the dude. But I'm down to work with him & any and all artists whether they in the Bean or outside. Hip-hop needs unity and far too often artists want to work dolo or stay within their cliques. I'm trynna break that mold and get the game back to where everyone collabed with everyone for the love of the genre.

I've been through Boston :manny: I've done a lot of work there

Here's my advice, with your style of music there are certain artists you want to stay away from because they aren't building but rather reiterating previous failures or negativity that they've never grown past.

With what you're doing (musically much better than most of the city around you) you need to be careful with who you work with because some artists will detract from your directions. I'll tell you what artists to stay away from and why you should stay away from them but I'd rather not promote their names on public forums.

this is a pretty dope album....i liked the overall feel of the album...kudos to being able to pick production that meshed so well together.

Good looks fam. I appreciate the feedback. Fortunately my team of producers are uber talented and were able to deliver. It was a long process to get my first EP done, but it all came together.

Good looks on the appreciation. With no ego, I feel like Im the best in MA cuz i know what everyone else is doing and even with my shortcomings, I know they cant deliver at peak what I can at meek. And I already know about the crabs in the Boston barrel: I hollered at Terminalogy a year ago for a feature and he wanted $1500, then I hollered at another local rapper he kept delaying his guest feature verse, giving me dates to expect it and then constantly changing them. At the end of the day, Ima just do me and when ppl really start gravitating towards me to make music, ill embrace it selectively then.

Terminology is from Lawrence and not to be negative but I couldn't see him pushing beyond the level he's reached. It's not that he's worth $1600 a verse but from a business perspective he'd be devaluing himself to give it to you for any less until you've put in more work. Your perspective says a lot and I wish you the best in establishing yourself .. maybe "Boston" isn't the focus and you'd be better to distance yourself from the city unless you feel it plays a significant part of your brand.

edit: I once knew a Boston artist with similar entitlement (in the best sense of the word), he was by far the most unlikely face you'd see running with those scenes, he didn't let it absorb him and eventually moved onto more promising terrain.

I'm not going to be the one that says "nobody will ever make it Boston"

Naw I def feel you. Terms not gonna get into the mainstream but I think he's ok with that. Honestly, so would I. To me, if I achieved Terms level of success and acclaim I'd be content and happy. At the end of the day he's living out his dreams. Just the other day I saw he was touring out in Asia. Small venues I'm sure but that would be a dream come true for me. I could quit my dumb ass job and focus on making the best music possible. I understood why he was charging me tho, at the end of the day it is a business. I just felt that he woulda saw my potential and wanted to help. Maybe it had the opposite affect tho :pacspit:

And I kno I kno, the Beans like a whole bunch of crabs in a barrel, but I feel like I can't turn my back on them. If someone's gonna put MA on its back and rise it from hip-hop obscurity, shouldn't it be me?? :cape:

This is better produced and made then 99% of the Hip-Hop out there, but you are going to have to improve on every single facet of your MC'ing because your voice isn't that interesting. Keep us updated.

Shoutout to coli member DirkDizzler who not only produced Lover Lover, Tool Up and Oh Yea , but also In The Zone and as well. Any artist out there needs to seriously holla at him for production. He's sublimely gifted and imo literally the second coming of Kanye West and I say that with no hyperbole.
