i make decent money and going to a game just isnt in the cards anymore. knicks tickets mad expensive. fck the giants. i might catch a couple mets games a year but they get ya with beer and food.

sports is too expensive. they see the writing on the wall.

Same. I make great bread but going to a game isnt reasonable. I spent $500 for knicks tickets(great seats) last year and the main attraction didnt even play. The nba is an absurd product right now. :dead:

Good move especially if you want to make the experience more affordable for families.

Additionally, from a business standpoint that $100+ they would've spent on feeding the fam at the game can now be spent on merch or higher priced tickets.

best bang for your buck in phoenix is cactus league baseball. good food that is a little cheaper than the dbacks and they tend to allow people to bring their own food in a clear container.

Good shyt
One of the many reasons I support the new Sixers arena is the location will allow for getting food within walking before and after the game. No reason to eat or drink inside the arena
$15 for a domestic beer. $15 for cheese fries. shyts ridiculous at this point

As someone who once spend 26ish bucks at the United Center for hotdogs (shyts were the best dogs I ever had), this is actually a majorly positive move. I would skip eating all day and load up on the hotdogs and spend the real money on their alcohol. These are all incredibly cheap to buy high margin foods for the Arena so they aren't going broke doing this.

there's a reason that costco has been offering a hot dog and a pop combo for $1.50 for like the last 40 years. those things literally cost them pennies, and it makes people happy at a nominal cost :manny:

plus like u said, those same people will just spend more money on alcohol since they saved on the hotdogs.
