I'm not even going to lie. A part of me feels the same way. I don't really care for Van Jones. His palling around with the Kushners and grinning in pictures with people like Candace Owens deserves criticism considering what he claims to stand for. But it rankles me when that criticism comes from people like Ana Navarro (former republican strategist and Bush supporter, among other things). It just rubs me the wrong way. I don't know why a lot of these "never Trump" republicans act like their past support didn't cause any harm.I don't like Van Jones but I'll never be cool with some non-black women talking down on him or any black man or black woman.
No non-Black person has the right to question whom a Black person decides to speak with. Allowing non-Black people that power just because you do not like the Black person they are talking about, allows them to continue to be out of pocket about issues that are between family members (Black people). So no, I don't care who the Black person is, I don't care if I absolutely dislike the Black person, I am not going to allow some non-Black person tell me which Black people I can interact with. I am also not going to find it ok, just because I don't like Van Jones.

Many of those tens of thousands of people released from prison — and their friends, family, and neighbors — have quietly spread the word that Trump, for all his many faults, did for many Black men what no Democratic president ever managed to pull off.
“All these Black celebrities that lived in the White House for eight years under Obama saying they cared about you, cared about your children, cared about your neighborhood — the minute Trump went in there, not one would go in,” Jones said. “You have a problem with your party. You’re not doing anything to help Black men. And your answer is to tell us to shut up and vote and criticize us. But we’re not stupid enough to fail to notice that there’s no heart for us.”

I'm disgusted with how people are giddy about dikk Cheney, Liz Cheney, David Frum, and other neocons are supporting Harris and supported Biden in 2020. These people are full of shyt and in the case of dikk Cheney, war criminals. Ana Navarro supported the Contras in Nicaragua. I get Trump is evil and must be stopped but people need to stop giving them a pass.
