What hurts for the Patriots is that the way they lost this game was the way they lost the last two superbowls. Offense couldn't get the first downs they needed, D gave up big passing plays and dropped INT's.

They did run a short swing out of the backfield, Ridley dropped the ball. Then Brady got blitzed and miss Woodhead right in front of him.

the Ridley play was on the first set of downs. they ended up picking a first there.

Then the Patriots went to spread, with no running back for damn near every play after that.
