He ain't wanna Scott Tolzien himself. I swear some of these backups are hella self-aware and know what they are. They only wanna start in meaningless games at the end of the season where they can play the other team's backups.

I said ti earlier in the thread that being a backup QB in the NFL is lowkey one of the GOAT jobs to have period

You're getting paid 6/7 figures to stand on the sideline, watch the game and hold a clipboard. Even during practice the defense aint allowed to put a hand on you and if you do get in the game and play bad fans won't go hard on you because youre only the backup. Add in the fact that Savage is a tall cac and he might end up caking for a decade + just off the strength of showing up to games/practice.
