Bears GM: Must be 'blown away' to draft QB at 1
Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles said he would have to be "absolutely blown away" to draft a quarterback with the team's first pick and indicated that Justin Fields would be the starter next season.

"We're going to do the same as we've always done," Poles said. "We're going to evaluate the draft class, and I would say this: I would have to be absolutely blown away to make that type of decision."
They aren't gonna draft a QB, trading down makes sense but I'd at least think about a QB. You restart the 5 year clock by drafting a QB, whoever you pick will be a better passer than Fields on day one, and you can trade him for picks. Not saying I'd do it but it's worth discussing.
If they keep him they gotta get the man some weapons and o-line protection. Trading down is prob the best way to do that.
