People forget Sam Howell was expected to compete with then-Oklahoma quarterback Spencer Rattler to be the No. 1 overall selection in 2022. And his stats were just as good as Trevor Lawrence in 20-21 don’t know what happened for his stock to fall but he’s the commanders future QB

Howell isn't good. He's nobody's qb of the future
Spencer Rattler is a 4th/5th rd pick himself so I wouldn't be using him as a barometer.
Howell is inaccurate one read or take off qb with limited arm strength. Hes short and mobile but not fast.
He's a career backup.
