it's really lowkey genius. NFL said Fox,CBS,NBC,ESPN gettin this commercial revenue how do we get more of that in our pockets? Gotta offer Sunday games on NFL Network. But only available timeslot is early morning so let's throw a game in europe for a couple weeks out the year we killing a nest of birds with one stone. Get to hop into international markets, get to get commercial revenue that we dont have to split with networks, and we get to raise the value of NFL Network to the cable companies cause it'll be a must have cause waking up before 9 to go to a bar aint in everybody blood
then we add a week to the season and now we have the option to have a game over there every week in the future.
NFL should write a book on sneaky capitalism but it'd prob be too expensive for anyone to buy
