Sunday Discussion III: Should child support be used to pay for childs college?! And..

Should the government/courts setup an account exclusively for this type of payment?! I'd have to say...HELL YES!!! It's so many dudes I know of personally that are on child support and get anywhere from 300 to 600 dollars taken out of their checks. The moms in some of these cases are what you'd call "unfit" and using the child support anyway they see fit. Now I'm not doubting that some of these kids out here receiving child support aren't getting money saved for their colleges but I suspect that the moms are abusing the money and or aren't saving it wisely for the kid. She's buying him xbox/ps3 games, jordans, etc. I know the kid is going to look nice but of course once he/she turns 18....they wondering why moms ain't save for college . How do you guys feel child support should be used or are most mothers using it as defined by the law?

No, should be used for whatever Bills I/You are missing out on. As Long as shes using it on the child I dont see the issue.

how about a percentage of it? You feel the entire amount should go....to the the child right? But that's the problem. A lot of it is going into the hands of the mother to support HER needs and not the childs.
