Summerslam going to two nights in 2026

I don't dislike the idea of Summerslam being 2 nights. I just think that when you can argue that building to a Mania is almost a full calendar plan, and it still feels like they have some filler or struggled to make 2 nights. Trying to stack another 2 night PLE less than 5 months later is quite the ask. But, for the Company, the local economy, and fans that are able to get to the event clearly a good thing.

I do think though they can't expand it beyond these two events.

RR would make sense. Have each rumble headline the shows. Don’t know about SS though.

They should add a 20 man legends rumble just for fukkery.

Survivor Series really been filler. Wargames injected some life into it, but even this past year. Unless they add an elimination gimmick to it. People will get bored fast of it. Survivor Series should be a time feuds could end, but timing never made sense.

Survivor Series can't even get put in a stadium so I don't think it would go 2 nights at least not for a very long time. It would have to build it's reputation back up as a must see show. Plus the timing of it, right around Thanksgiving, would probably be a hurdle too. It's clearly been the weakest of the traditional big 4. MITB has definitely surpassed it over the years.

This pretty much guarantees intrigue for 8 out of the 12 months of the year for WWE.

WWE is very popular in Japan they'll sell out more than Wrestle Kingdom

WWE’s Japanese TV ratings are dwarfed by NOAH

Their Google search trends in Japan are dwarfed by Stardom.

In terms of popularity, WWE in Japan is somewhere between what AEW and TNA are in America.

If they did a one-night PLE there it could do well because they’d have their Japanese stars on there who are still very well liked.

They’d have a hard time selling tickets if they charge their extortionist prices like they are in Scotland with the way the Japanese economy is right now.

I think we're getting to a point where we are going to see more two day shows from WWE especially their major shows it's probably going to hurt their appeal with casuals but it's a huge bag opportunity so I can't hate on it.

Not to mention theirs talk that they are going attempt to get sight fees for some of their TV tapings as well.

Philly , NYC, Chicago , Boston , UK , France , Japan ... all places that will probably never host wrestlemania again.

But will more than likley be in the rotation for 2- night summer slams going forward

I can actually see Mania being held overseas and it will be sooner than some expect
